Board Meeting Minutes

May 18th, 2009

Crossroads Church 7 PM

1.  Call To Order:  Allan called the meeting to order at 7:07 p.m.

2.  Members Present: All present except Corrine

3.  Secretary's Report:  Eric motioned to accept the report.  Julie 2nd.  All in favor.

4.  Treasurer's Report:  Shelly was not able to meet with Corrine yet.  Shelly, Chuck, Corrine and Allan to get together

     to review.  Tabled for this month.

5.  New Business

·         Selecting the Committee Chairpersons:  Julie made a motion to allow non-board members to chair a committee.  Shelly 2nd.  All in favor.

·         Rate for Ice Show Producer and Backstage Director

•   Brad made a motion to rename positions from Ice Show Producer and Backstage Director to Ice Show             Director and Assistant Director.  Eric 2nd.  All in favor.  Rates:  Director = $350, Assistant Director = $150,             Cutting Music = $100.  Brad made a motion to accept the rates.  Eric 2nd.  All in favor.

·         Schedule and Rates - Al's Proposal.  Tabled.  Main topic for June.  Al to send information.

·         Possibility of a Synchro Team:  Would be able to have lessons at Greenheck.  Would include ice time through February. Need to get additional information from coaches and get requirements of girls.  What is the goal?  Should this be a separate entity, have a committee, manager and fund raiser?  Would we be able to get 6 a.m. Monday ice time at Mosinee.  Julie is to get information.  Tabled for now.

·         Summer Ice Time @ Greenheck.  Al booked one day, Tuesday, June 23 from 4 - 5:50 p.m.  $140/hr $280 for 2 hours.  Participants will need to sign up.  First come/first serve.  Need to be with a coach.  Julie to send an e-mail to the coaches. 

·         Coaching Requirements - USFS Update

      ·                     Nominations for Volunteer of the Year Award for 08-09 season

            Send nominations to Al via e-mail.  Must be non-board member.
